The CCCLM believes that Australia should undertake assessments of far deeper national emissions reductions. Our level of government stands by to act as a major partner in responding to the climate challenge.

Stronger action on addressing transport related emissions is essential. Growth in the Australian road transport task has led to a corresponding increase in number of vehicles consuming fuel, which in turn, has led to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions from the sector.
